Itinerant Festival - starts out with 'Scaramouche' in the Arènes de Montmartre on Wednesday, 28. August and continues until Sunday while 'Donna Giovanni' beginsposter: gospel dream, new morning, temple de la bastille the same day in the courtyard of the Mairie of the 2nd arrondissement. Two other shows follow in September, with 'Capitaine Fracasse' in the Arènes and the 'Lovers of Verona' in the courtyard of the Mairie of the 9th. Modes à Suivre 2 - is a showcase to 45 new and young clothing designers, perhaps offering a look at tomorrow's big names. From Friday, 6. September until Wednesday, 18. Musique Sur Seine - although this 4th edition is 'reporté' the dates given are Friday, 6. September until Sunday, 8. September, which may be new ones. Hours are from 14:00 to 22:30. Le Nozze di Figaro - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's big hit opera is playing again, beginning at 19:30 on Monday, 9 September. Other dates in September are the 12, 16, 18, and the 24th. The time for Sunday, 22. September is 15:00. If the program is correct, this opera returns for 12 more dates, from May to July 2003. At the Opéra Bastille, 2-bis, Place de la Bastille, Paris 12. Squatts d'Artistes - means 'art-squat' but here is hardly a typical example because it lasts exactly from Tuesday, 10. September until Wednesday, 2. Lieux Communs au Féminin Pluriel - Balzac's literary ladies were hardly models - they tended to be monsters, with good souls. Shown here in this exhibition of caricatures, by Monnier and Gavarni. Max Beckmann - is a ' Peinture dans l'Histoire' who is worth a major exhibition from Thursday, 12. September until Monday, 6. January 2003. Kayassine - after its world tour, Kayassine puts on its elaborate aerial ballet, beginning on Thursday, 12. September, until Sunday, 20. October. Thursday to Saturday at 20:30 and at 17:00 on Sunday. Paris With a View - is a paraphrase of the photographic exhibition 'Paris au Plus Haut des Cieux,' which shows Philippe Muraro's affection for high places in the city. The series, begun in 1999, is not yet finished. On view from Friday, 13. September until Thursday, 31. October, from 10:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. Chano, un Cubain à New York - is possibly, a 'big show.' On during the spring, it returns on Friday, 13. September and continues until Sunday, 29. September. Techno Parade - just when I thought this was replaced by something else, here it is, back again. Thank you, Jack Lang! On Saturday, 14. September. Destination is the Place de la Bastille. Fête de l'Humanité - is the newspaper's and the Communist Party's 'welcome back from holidays' annual three-day rock-and-folks' party featuring artists like Tito Fuentes. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 13, 14 and 15. September. Take the RER 'B' to Le Bourget and look for transport to La Courneuve's big park. Entry, 10euro 3 sign for the three days.

Giulio Cesare - Georg Friedrich Händel's opera opens on Monday, 16. September at 19:00. Otherposter: musee maillol dates are 19, 24, 27, 30. September and 11. and 14. October. The time for Sunday, 6. Manet - Velasquez - examines the 'Spanish manner' in the 19th century, in this big show beginning on Wednesday, 18. September and continuing until Sunday, 6. January 2003.
