Tourist Office To Move

Paris:- Saturday, 6. December 2003:- There are not a lot of new items in this week's column, mainly because it's already full. If it isn't enough, there are two other Scéne columns - Scène Noël and Scène's Eves to scroll through.

The major news is that the L'Office de Tourisme et des Congrès de Paris, usually referred to here as the PTO, will close its doors on the Champs-Elysées forever at 19:00 on Wednesday, 31. December 2003.

Its new central location at 25-27. Rue des Pyramides will not be open for business until next June. From now until then, the PTO's services will be scattered around the city. See the updated Links page for details about locations and open times.
