David, le Portrait en Excellence – is a major retrospective of the works of Jacques Louis David, witness and artist. Many works on show for the first time in France. To start on Tuesday, 4. Croiser des Mondes. – photographs are a slice of real, disconnected from reality, yet form another reality either concrete or one of sensations. This show begins on Tuesday, 4. October and goes on until Sunday, 8. January. Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 to 19:00, Tuesday evenings to 21:30, and on weekends from 10:00 to 19:00. Camille Claudel – instead of knitting Camille decided to work in stone. Supported by critic Octave Mirbeau, she was also allied with Auguste Rodin. This major exhibition has gathered many pieces from museums and private collections. To begin Wednesday, 5. October and continue until Tuesday, 31. January. From 10:00 to 18:00, except on Mondays. DADA – this is a really big show, the first in France since 1966, with 1000 works of nothing but Dada, with everything you need to know about Dada to start your own crazy Dada movement. For big Dada fans this show moves on to Washington DC and later, to New York City. Here Dada starts Wednesday, 5. October and goes on until Monday, 9. January. Klimt, Kokoschka, Schiele, Moser – are in this exhibition titled Vienna 1900, in their first show together in Paris. This is the one to see if Dada isn't your beer. To start on Wednesday, 5. Paris Lumières – in 1737 Anne Robert Jacques Turgot, Baron de l'Aulne, decided that Paris needed a splendid map, for the plus belle capitale du monde and the 'Plan Turgot' was the result.
