34th Street Is For Sale

Neither rain nor sleet nor snow, stops shopping on 34th Street.

Thursday, 30. November:– The Manhattan Macy's, at 34th Street and 6th Avenue – yes, it's at Broadway and 7th Avenue too – this Macy's is the biggest department store in the world, according to a large sign. I have never seen all of it but every visit has been memorable. For example I recall meeting Nick Danger in person and on a later visit I almost bought one of his shirts. People working at Macy's are mostly Socialists. They make sure you get all the discounts you deserve. They almost give the stuff away.
