Rain doesn't stop evening shoppers.

Friday, 22. December:– I took the right subway to get to Chinatown but went the wrong way and saw some mean and dark streets. Finally, on course, there was Joe's Shanghai and a good meal. Then it was raining and all the local residents were buying their evening greens on Canal Street. I wished I could hang out there, pretending I was visiting Asia on a 20–buck Metrocard.
