The online order form will be familiar to everybody who has ever purchased goods via the Web. The only note of caution is that after filling in your order information and submitting the form, you will probably have to wait two minutes until there is a response. It is not necessary to hit the 'back' button or attempt to re–submit.

I suppose that everybody but me knows this already – so if you've read this sort of note before and know it off–by–heart – just consider that I've put it in for my own information.

For those of you who have just caught on to this for the first time – or have forgotten what has already happened – Allan is a long–time Metropole reader and a member of the Café Metropole Club. It is from the club that he has borrowed the name for the wine. This, and his appreciation of Paris.

Allan is not an amateur or part–time winemaker. He has worked in the business for decades, both in Europe and in the United States. By people who are discerning, the dry sparkling wine is considered to be fine, and this has been confirmed by several positive sessions of testing at locales in the Pacific Northwest.
